No Food Drive December 9, 2023

Updated: Dec 5, 2023

Due to the funeral of a very dear parishioner, there will be no food drive this Saturday, December 9th. You can drop off your food donations any time on Sunday between 8:30AM and 11:30 AM. Baskets will be set up in Fellowship Hall, as well as, the ones in the Narthex. Of course, you can drop off any time this week during office hours.

Food of the Month: Canned meals such as Beef Stew or Pasta and Sauce

Mission Ministries warmly thanks all of you who dropped off donated items in support of the work by our local community partners to nourish those in need over the past three years. Your love, generosity and support are greatly appreciated.

In these difficult times, Mission Ministries of St. Francis would like to continue to offer opportunities for those who want to help others in some way. St. Francis has three Mission Partners: Abby’s House, Mustard Seed, and Dismas Family Farm. We also partner with Laundry Love and the Wachusett Food Pantry. While we have entered a “new normal” post COVID, food scarcity remains a daunting problem for these group, given our current inflationary economy, increased homelessness and the expiration of various programs available during COVID.
