MENDING DIVISION    A 3-Part TED Talk Series

Healing Our Relationships. Strengthening Our Community.

For a few years now we have presented a yearly event TED Talks on the 1st Friday in March, April and May. The premise here is to choose a pertinent topic that addresses our community at St Francis. We watch a short video and discuss the main points of the TED Talk.

In a world marked by tension and division, Scripture calls us to be peacemakers. This 3-part series explores practical, Christ-centered principles for building understanding, restoring strained relationships, and strengthening community.

  • Friday March 6 (7-8pm) Scott Shigeoka: Can Curiosity Heal Division?

  • Friday April 10 (7-8pm)  Julia Dhar: How to Disagree Productively and Find Common Ground.

  • Friday May 8 (7-8pm) Betty Hart: How Compassion Could Save Your Strained Relationships.

Join us as we learn to listen with humility, speak with grace, disagree with love, reflect Christ in our relationships. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.

 Date: March 6, 2026

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Location: St. Francis Episcopal Church, 70 Highland Street Holden, MA 01520
