Acts 2:1-21 - Sunday Scripture Reflection
Updated: Jun 16
On this Sunday of the Feast of Pentecost, we read from the Book of Acts and hear the story of the coming of the Holy Spirit to the followers of Jesus. We will explore the gift of the Holy Spirit, and reflect on the experience of the first Christians as they transformed their lives from depending on the presence of Jesus into a new way of being - depending on the gift of God's Spirit to guide them in their daily lives. We will explore what the Spirit of God means to us in our lives, and how we might find the presence of the Spirit in our communities.
Our Scripture passage is found in the Book of Acts. You may find the Scripture lesson by selecting the following link: (Acts 2:1-21).
