Bishop's Visit

Bishop Doug Fisher, our Diocesan Bishop of Western MA, visited St. Francis on Sunday, March 16, 2025. Bishop Fisher celebrated and preached at the 10:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist, and was blessed to perform the liturgy of “Reception to the Episcopal Church” for two members of our community: Stephen Cook and Joy Head. He met members of the church at coffee hour and then met with the vestry for lunch and conversation. Bishop Fisher has announced his retirement and the search process for our next bishop is underway. It was a joyous day to have our Bishop with us for his final visit to St. Francis Church.
