As we gather for the Twenty-fifth Sunday after Pentecost, we will discuss and reflect on the story of the poor widow, who donates two copper coins to the offering at the Temple. Almost lost among the many large contributions of the wealthy, Jesus points out her faithful gift and teaches his followers why the poor widow's gift holds such devoted significance. We will reflect on how we are given gifts and invited to share our gifts, contributing to God's desire for spreading grace and mercy to all people.
