As we gather on the Last Sunday after the Epiphany, we experience the glory of God in the Transfiguration of Jesus. The story of the Transfiguration is always told on this last Sunday before we enter into our Lenten journey. We will discuss the possible understandings and misunderstandings of the three disciples as they witness this divine event, and we will consider the possible meanings intended for us from this revelation of Christ and God's glory. This glorious event is meant to stay with our spirits throughout the forty days of Lent, feeding our faith that God is with us always. What might this mean for our daily lives?
