Matthew 9:35 - 10:23 - Sunday Scripture Reflection
Updated: Sep 20
As we gather for the Third Sunday after Pentecost, we hear Jesus teaching his followers what it means to be committed to radically spreading God's love in the world. Jesus speaks of spreading the Good News to those in great need through acts of teaching, healing, and the ministry of presence. Jesus also speaks of the challenges the disciples will face as they bring God's message of Love to a world that is not always ready to receive that message. We will consider ways that we might spread Christ's mission of love and mercy in our world.
Our Scripture passage is found in the Gospel according to Matthew. You may find the Scripture lesson by selecting the following link: (Matthew 9:35 - 10:23).
