Many of our church spaces received some much-needed attention this summer. New carpeting was installed in the upstairs classrooms, stairwells, choir room, offices, and Fellowship Hall. FH has been covered with carpet squares that will allow some flexibility in removing difficult stains. The remaining carpets were cleaned in order to be ready for a new program year. The lights in Fellowship Hall were also replaced. The new lights are dimmable, quiet, and more cost effective. Bryan Diehl even washed the windows!
Just before Christmas, the canister lights above the pews in the worship space received new bulb extenders that greatly improved the quality of light in that portion of the room. Over the summer, new track lights were installed over the altar and near the organ. We now have new LED lights that will last longer and will be easier to replace.
These updates speak to our vitality, our desire to be energy-conscious stewards of our property, and our wish to be a welcoming community.
